MINISTERING: PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE

TEXT: JUDGES 15:14 -19

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting against him. Then the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him; and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds broke loose from his hands. He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, reached out his hand and took it, and killed a thousand men with it. Then Samson said: “With the jawbone of a donkey, Heaps upon heaps, With the jawbone of a donkey I have slain a thousand men!” And so it was, when he had finished speaking, that he threw the jawbone from his hand, and called that place Ramath Lehi. Then he became very thirsty; so he cried out to the Lord and said, “You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant; and now shall I die of thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?” So God split the hollow place that is in Lehi, and water came out, and he drank; and his spirit returned, and he revived. Therefore he called its name En Hakkore, which is in Lehi to this day.

Judges 15:14‭-‬19 NKJV

“God told me loud and clear, my son, the Redeemed Christian Church of God is my church. I can take care of my own. I will take care of my own.”

In the Name that is above other names, your internal enemies will be confused and disappointed.

Your external enemies, God will scatter them. Those who refuse to move will be uprooted.

Whatever you did for God that brought you thus far, don’t stop doing it.

In the story we read, you don’t find Samson saying “Thank you Lord”. I want you to take special note of what I am about to tell you.

When you are grateful to God for what He has done, He will do more. 2Chronicles 1:6-15. Solomon was grateful for what God did and God did more. If you are ungrateful to God for what He has done in the past, He can take it back  1 Sam. 2:30, 1 Samuel 15
The most important lesson of all is that sooner or later you will need God again. Psalm 50:14-15. After Samson got the victory he didn’t thank God, he was praising himself. He needed God again God provided water yet he didn’t thank God. Exodus 14:1-8, after the Israelites crossed the red sea they praised God. When they came to where they needed water the water was bitter. Exodus 15:22-26 But because they have praised God in the past, God changed the bitter water to sweet. 1 Samuel 17 – David was so sure he will defeat Goliath because in Psalms 34 he said “I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall continually be in my mouth”. If you are indeed a Child of God, show God this year that you are grateful child. I have discovered if you thank God, He will do more.

Finally, if you are not yet saved give your life to Jesus Christ now. Don’t joke with the mercy of God. He can withdraw that mercy and there will be nothing else.

If you want to give your life to Jesus, come now.
