Everything that happens to you and how you react to various issues in life is not hidden from others; it will be told to others. Just as news about others reaches you, so too will the news of your actions be made known to many. In His infinite mercy, God desires to proclaim His will and purpose through our lives.
Be mindful that your life is an open book before the eyes of men. What your life represents is a message to all who hear about you. As John said:
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” — 3 John 1:4 (NKJV)
Let it be said of you that you walk in faith, righteousness, and truth. Let us hear that you have not compromised your values and that you continually overcome the temptations of the flesh, Satan, and worldliness. Let your glory be known, just like Joseph, Daniel, and David, in the domain of your placement. May we never hear evil about you—physically, socially, professionally, maritally, ministerially, or spiritually.
Meditation: What is being heard about you? What message does your life convey to those who hear about you?
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to live a life that reflects Your truth, righteousness, and faith. May my deeds speak of Your glory and inspire others in Jesus’ name, Amen.
