BIBLE TEXT: REVELATIONS 3:7-8
Prayer: Father, when you are opening doors tonight, please don’t forget me
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Revelation 3:7-8
A DOOR is the link between the inside and the outside of a building; when the door is shut it plies that those who are in are in, those who are out are out – Matthew 25:1-13
When a door opens it means those who are outside can go in and people from inside can go out. An open door means there is no trouble outdoors. When the door is shut you can keep both good and bad people out. Psalm 74:7- 10
When God comes into your life, healing comes in, victory comes in, joy comes in. Luke 7:11-15 John 9:1-7 A man born blind encountered Jesus and He was heal – John 5:2-6
When the door opens stagnation goes out the moment the king of glory comes inPsalm 75:5-7
When the door opens sorrow leaves because of His presence – Psalm 16:11
When the door opens everything lost is restored – Colossians 1:17, John 11:39-44
When the door opens Kingdom of glory comes in help comes in, helplessness goes out – Psalm 46:1, Mark 2:1-12
When the door opens it could mean your appointment with that has been canceled- Acts 12:20-24
When your door opens, you can go anywhere you like safely – Psalm 121:8
The Lord said there is someone here, those who have been looking at you far behind they will soon be looking at you as far ahead.
Do you know it is possible for the door to open to one and be shut to another? Luke 23: 39-43 – there were two thieves nailed to the cross, before the two died the door of paradise was opened to one the other went to hell.
God can open a door and after sometime He can shut; but he will warn the fellow concerned before he shuts – Matthew 26:21-25, John 13:20-30, Acts 1:15-20.
You have a choice; God is keenly interested in opening doors to you and to keep it open – Revelations 3:20. If you are a child of God and you think the door is close to you, He gives what you should do – Matthew 7:7. If you are a child of God and the door has been opened to you before and it has been shut, repent – Luke 15:11-24. If you are yet to be His child, God is rich in mercy, if you come to Him, He will open the door. Tonight is a night of open doors, the Almighty can flush out everything that is causing shame, if you allow Him to come in.
Prayer Points
- Thank the Almighty God for making it possible to you to be part of tonight programme.
- Father, open doors unto me, throw them wide open, all manners of glorious doors, open them to me.
- King of glory, come and dwell in my life
- King of glory, anything that is not glorious in my life, drive it out tonight
- Keep the door, that you are opening unto me completely wide open forever
- Lord, open doors to every member of my family.
