RCCG FEBRUARY 2022 HOLY GHOST SERVICE SERMON – MIRACLES

TEXT: ACTS 19 VS 11-12
Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them Acts 19:11-12
WHAT IS A MIRACLE? The universe is controlled by laws; the laws of the One who framed it by His Word – Hebrews 11:3. God framed the universe by His Word. He made laws to control everything; for example, the law of gravity – Ecclesiastes 11:3. A miracle is the suspension of one or more of the laws controlling the universe because God wants to intervene in the affairs of men.
In the name of the One that is above every other name, nothing will hinder your miracle tonight.
He suspends the law, performs the miracle he wants to perform, and the laws continue to work. – Matthew 14:22-32
The link between you and the Lord Jesus Christ, will never be broken.
Occasionally for God to perform a miracle, He uses a law to reverse the other – 2 Kings 6:1-6. In some cases God will use a superior law to set aside a junior law – Romans 8 vs 2, John 11:39-44
I decree tonight, nothing will be impossible in your life
In the name that is above every other name every medical report contrary to your wellbeing is canceled in Jesus name.
Prayer Point 1: Father, whatever laws you have to suspend to give me my miracle, suspend them tonight.
WHY DO MIRACLES HAPPEN – Psalm 115:3 Miracles happen because God wants to know that He is the most high Jeremiah 2:27. Miracles happen because God wants to be glorified.
Prayer Point 2: Father, for the sake of your glory, give me all the miracle I need
WHEN DOES MIRACLE? Miracle happens at God’s appointed time – Ecclesiastes 3:1-11. Because God is sovereign he can fiddle with time – Daniel 2:22. God reserves the right to slow and hasten time – John 2:1-11. He can reverse time – 2 Kings 20:1-11. Miracle happens when nobody else can help except God. A miracle happens right on time – Psalms 46:1, 1 Kings 17.
In the name of the One who called me, your miracle time will come today
In the name of the One that is above every other name, even when you are no longer expecting a miracle, God will release more miracles.
Miracles happen when God sees faith. Habakkuk 2:4 Romans 1:17, Hebrews 10:38, Galatians 3:11. Faith is in categories; the faith that gets miracles is a violent kind of faith – Mark 2:4. A child like faith is a kind of faith that can receive a miracle – Matthew 18:3
Prayer Point 3: Father, my faith may be small but at least I believe you are the Almighty, honour my faith today.
SPECIAL MIRACLES- John 1:1-3 – IF GOD created you, then it should be easy for Him to repair any damage – Mark 3:1-5, Romans 4:19, John 9:1-7
Whatever is faulty in your life, shall be repaired tonight
Every good thing you have lost shall be restored to you tonight
Before next month, the world will see the sign of your miracle
Prayer Point 4: Father, whatever you have to do to my body, either repair, replace or recreate, just do it now.
MATERIAL MIRACLES – Genesis 17:1 Whenever God wants to perform a material miracle he pours it out of himself – John 6:35.
Prayer Points 5: Father, give me a breakthrough by your own methods
Special miracles can be gotten through overflowing miracles from another person- Acts 19:1–12. The miracle of simple silly obedience – 2 Kings 4:1-7
Prayer Points 6: Father, I leave all to you, in your sovereign majesty, help me.
THE MIRACLE OF SALVATION – Genesis 3:19, Matthew 15:21-28 – Man is dust. The miracle of salvation changes a dog to a son. Salvation changes an ordinary person to an heir of God – Romans 8:15-17. Salvation grants you permission to enter into the bedroom of God – Hebrews 10:19.
Prayer Points 7: Father, don’t let me ever lose my salvation.
Prayer points 7 for those who are yet to give their life to Christ: Father, save my soul, give me the biggest of miracles, give me today.
If you are yet to give your life to Christ, do so today.
Prayer Points – Start your prayer with thanksgiving.
- Father, whatever laws you have to suspend to give me my miracle, suspend them tonight
- Father, for the sake of your glory, give me all the miracles I need
- Father, my faith may be small but at least I believe you are the Almighty, honour my faith today.
- Father, whatever you have to do to my body, either repair, replace or recreate, just do it now.
- Father, give me a breakthrough by your own methods
- Father, I leave all to you, in your sovereign majesty, help me.
- Father, don’t let me ever lose my salvation.
