Onigbagbọ ẹ bu s’ ayọ

VERSE 1

Onigbagbọ, ẹ bu s’ ayọ,
Ọjọ nla l’ eyi fun wa;
Ẹ gbọ bi awọn Angẹli
Ti nf’ ogo fun Ọlọrun:
Alafia, Alafia
Ni fun gbogbo eniyan.

VERSE 2

Ki gbogbo aiye ho f’ ayọ,
K’ a f’ ogo fun Ọlọrun,
Ọmọ bibi Rẹ l’ o fun wa
T’ a bi ninu Wundia:
Ẹn’ Iyanu, Ẹn’ Iyanu
Ni Ọmọ t’ a bi loni

Ninu gbogbo rudurudu,
On ibi t’ o kun aiye,
Ninu idamu nla ẹsẹ
L’ Ọm’ Ọlọrun wa gba wa:
Olugbimọ, Olugbimọ,
Alade Alafia

Ọlọrun Olodumare
L’ a bi, bi ọmọ titun:
Baba ! Eni aiyeraiye
L’ o di alakoso wa:

O wa d’ onigbọwọ wa
Lati fọ itẹgun Esu
A ṣe ni Ọba Ogo:

All ye Christians burst into joy,
Great day this hath been to us;
Hark as the host of Angels sing
Glorious praises unto God.

Be unto all ye mankind

Let all who dwell on earth rejoice,
And give glory unto God.
His only Son He hath offered
Begotten of a virgin.
