Bible verse in Yoruba:
Isaiah 61:1 – ẸMI Oluwa Jehofah mbẹ lara mi: nitori o ti fi ami ororo yàn mi lati wãsu ihin-rere fun awọn òtoṣi; o ti rán mi lati ṣe awotán awọn onirobinujẹ ọkàn, lati kede idasilẹ fun awọn igbekùn, ati iṣisilẹ tubu fun awọn ondè.
Key: How many people have you told about Jesus? (Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom 2 Corinthians 3:17) Now that you have given your life to Jesus and you now have the spirit of God upon you, how many people have you shared the news of your liberty with?
If salvation is not really important then Jesus won’t have come from heaven to earth to teach about it and also sacrifice Himself for it.
There are so many souls out there wasting away, even in our neighborhood, and most of us are content with our own salvation alone.
The bible says there is Joy in heaven when one soul comes to Repentance. Heaven has rejoiced over your own soul, how about you be the reason why heaven keeps rejoicing over other souls. Imagine how God will be proud of you if you bring a soul to him. (https://www.ferventxtian.com/word-of-the-day-matthew-4-vs-17-preach-the-gospel/
The bible indicates that we are branches and we have to bring forth our fruits (Read John 15:1-5). One of the ways to bear fruits is evangelism. Someone has sown a seed in you, now the seed has grown to bring out branches and God is waiting for the fruits you are meant to produce. Will you produce fruits or will you stay as a fruitless branch?
Reflection: There are different ways of telling people about Jesus, look for the one you know you can use and use it diligently. Make heaven happy over a soul.
