Key: God operates in the realm of faith; our salvation comes by faith, (For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God Ephesians 2:8) we live by faith, (Now the just shall live by faith; Hebrews 10:38), we receive answers to prayers by faith (Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24).
In the same manner, we receive the Holy Spirit when we ask of the Father in Faith and we believe we have received from Him because He promised to give us His spirit.
