No matter how bright your day might have appeared to be, the fact remains that the night is coming after you. Living your life knowing that there is a limit to every opportunity you have is Wisdom!

“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.” John 9:4 NKJV
Life is a temporary assignment. No matter how smart and wonderful a man can be, he cannot work when his night comes. The Lord in His infinite mercy and fairness gave all men the opportunity to experience the daytime in every aspect of life. If the Lord could still take away several men who had outstanding performances in their lifetime; no one is here permanently.
When I was growing up, our fathers, mothers and their friends and relatives who used to be young, beautiful and vibrant are now growing old and feeble. The ones we called our grandmothers and fathers are no more. Our parents are now grandmothers and fathers. When we are happy that things are even like this; the fact remains that night is fast approaching.
Don’t be eaten up by the brightness of your day. Don’t squander the days of your opportunities. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it; be it serving, helping others and fulfilling the purpose of God.
