A man will only experience the joy of serving the Lord if and only if he believes in Him and walk in obedience to His word!

“Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Psalms 37:4 NKJV
You cannot serve the Lord correctly in any capacity and run at loss or be at disadvantage. The Lord has proven to be a God who rewards the labor of love of faithful and committed men in His service. God has a standard that cannot be compromised; you have not served Him until you obey and honor His words. Any service whatsoever cannot be regarded as an effective one before Him if such is done contrary to His will.
In serving the Lord you must be mindful of the fact that He is not a respecter of any person and that He is self-sufficient. The joy of serving the Lord will be yours when you cooperate with Him to walk and work in obedience. Do not allow selfishness or any kind of evil desire to hinder you from receiving the blessing meant for you from the Lord.

Prayer: Lord! Renew my will from day to day and make it thy; help me to serve you correctly in Jesus name. Amen!
Emphasis: You must serve God correctly if you must experience the joy of serving Him!
