Something worse awaits every man who continues to live in sin. Repentance from sin delivers a man from the grip of sin and the evil enterprise of the Devil!
Scriptural Reference
“Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” John 5:14 NKJV
The more a man continues to live in sin the more the works of darkness prevail over him. The lives of men who have gone ahead justify the fact that sin in the life of a man has a grave consequence. What can be worse than being knocked down by sickness for 38 years? But we saw Jesus advised the man being healed to sin no more. It will be good if you will allow God to help you to yield to this counsel in a time like this.
Be mindful of the fact that something worse awaits all men who fail to stop sinning. Don’t take the mercy of God in your life for granted. Samson was confident of the grace of God while living contrary to God’s instructions for him. He continued until something worse happened to him and his mandate. The fact that you sinned and it appears as if nothing happened does not change the fact that the wages of sin is death. Eternal condemnation awaits all sinners.
