WORD FOR TODAY
The fact that God crowns men with some measure of grace, honour and glory does not change the fact that man is powerless. Men only appear powerful when God is having their back!!!

“O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. (Jeremiah 10:23 NKJV)
All men created by God no matter how wonderful they appear to be are powerless. The wonders and power we see in the lives of men were products of God’s grace and mercy. When the angel struck king Herod, he was eaten by worms almost immediately. People who hailed him were ignorant of the fact that it was the grace of God that made Him who he was.
Who is Moses before Pharaoh? Who is Daniel before the Lions in Lion’s den? What can the three Hebrews do before the fiery furnace? Who is David before Goliath? The feats these men achieved were possible because God is having their back and carried them on the lift of divine grace.
When God is removed from the affairs of a man’s life then there is nothing left. You must keep asking for grace and always seek to be helped by God in everything. You must be humble enough to acknowledge Him in all you do.

Lord! Don’t let your mercy cease in my life; continue to have my back in every situation of life in Jesus’ name. Amen
