“Be glad for all God is planning for you. Be patient in trouble, and always be prayerful.” Romans 12:12 NLT
When you pray, it shows you don’t trust yourself but God. It also shows how helpless you are and how much you need God. The Lord Jesus shows us the way of life through His approach to and attitude toward prayer. If Jesus prayed this much, then who are you? The major strategy of the devil over all of mankind is that he makes men preoccupied with various activities of life and takes away the power of prayer.
He is so successful in this to the extent that even when men find time to pray, most issues of life make them materialistic. Most people don’t engage in prayers that will build their spirit or make them live a successful Christian life as they proceed on their pathway to destiny. Those who truly know God and have faith in Him pray ceaselessly.
The battle of life has not overcome you until you lose the power of prayer. When things are not working well in your life, family, city, or nation and it seems as if you are helpless; the only way out is prayer. If you want to experience the power of God in your pilgrimage and you don’t want to become a victim of life’s circumstances, atrocities, or evil enterprises of the devil, you must give yourself to praying ceaselessly.
