Word of the day: Numbers 23 vs 19 – God is not a man that lies

Memorize:  “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19 NKJV

Numbers 23:19 – NIV – God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Numbers 23:19 – NLT – God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

Numeri 23:19 – Ọlọrun ki iṣe enia ti yio fi ṣeké; bẹ̃ni ki iṣe ọmọ enia ti yio fi ronupiwada: a ma wi, ki o má si ṣe bi? tabi a ma sọ̀rọ ki o má mu u ṣẹ?

Key: It’s in the nature of a man to lie. The good news is God doesn’t lie, whatsoever He says He will do, He will surely do. Whatever promise He makes, it will surely come through. The only way God’s promises won’t come to fulfillment in your life is you….if you opt to walk outside of His will. If you chose to go against His commandments, if you chose to lead yourself and not let God lead you.
