RCCG DECEMBER HOLY GHOST SERVICE SERMON – THE GREAT TURN AROUND

TEXT: MARK 10:46-52
Lift up your hands to the Almighty God and begin to worship Him, the Ancient of days. Give Him glory. Give Him adoration. Magnify His Holy name. Praise Him.
Prayer – Father, Tonight. Please don’t pass me by
Mark 10: 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. 50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. 52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
There are so many things about the story of Bath that we are yet to touch; for example “Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus” will take us 1hour; because Bartimaeus came from a good one. Somehow he ended up a beggar at the road side. If you go out today, you will be amazed that many of the Area Boys came from good ones. If you study this chapter very well you will discover that problems are not limited to poor homes. You will discover that the devil ,does not respect your titles. But thank God for Jesus Christ, He can solve the problem of the big and the problem of the small.
From the story of Bartimaeus, the first thing that should hit you hard is, your turnaround begins the moment you say “enough is enough”; the moment you decide no more suffering. No more sickness. No more loneliness. No more barrenness. The moment you say “enough is enough” your turn around begins. It is written Mathew 18:18 “ Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” Bible scholars said what was written there originally is “whatever you allow on earth is allowed in heaven – whatever you refuse on earth is refused in heaven” I don’t know about you, but I refuse sorrow, I refuse sickness, I refuse bondage, I refuse stagnation – 2 Kings 4:1-7 James 4:2 John 16:24.
Prayer – Father, anyone who will not allow me to reach my goal, any method you want to use, remove them.
I decree tonight, anyone disturbing your Joy won’t see the New Year.
Your turnaround will come when you call on God for help. Bartimaeus to the only one who can solve his problem – Jeremiah 33:3, Psalm 50:14-15 . Tonight we are going to call on God to send to us destiny helpers. When Bartimaeus cried Jesus send to him the same people who are keeping him quiet – All Jesus said to them is go and bring him. But when they go to him they started prophesying “Be of good comfort”
1 Samuel 16:11-13, 1 Kings 19:15-21 – When destiny helper is sent to you from God the turnaround will happen suddenly; irresistibly. Samuel said to Jesse “And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.”
Prayer: Father, send helpers of destiny to me
The moment they told Bartimaues Jesus is calling him, he did something very significant; he threw away his garment, he took a step of FAITH. Something must have told him “you will not leave this anymore”
I decree to you, after tonight you won’t hear any garment of shame again
Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38 – Four times God said “the Just shall live by faith”. And He promised in Joel 2:26-27 “ and my people shall never be ashamed”. But, you have to believe the word of God.
Prayer – Father, I believe you for my turnaround, if my faith is not enough, help my unbelief
When they brought Bartimaeus to Jesus, Jesus asked, what do you want? And he gave a serious answer, “Tell darkness to leave me alone”. Exodus 8:1, Luke 13:11-17 – The Lord of Hosts has issued a decree to every form of darkness “let my people go”.
Prayer – Father, command forces of darkness to leave me alone
Jesus issued a decree and said “Light there be light” suddenly darkness departed from the life of Bartimaeus.
Psalm 33:8-9 – When God speaks it is done but He has delegated this power to His servants, he has said “ Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” He has said in His word, when you fulfill certain conditions, when you decree it shall be established – 1 Samuel 3:19. He has given me permission to issue certain decrees tonight.
The Lord has told me to give you five minutes to ask for whatever you want.
Declaration – Lift up your hands and shout Amen
Final Benediction “In the name that is above every other name, I decree, You will not die young. There will never again be tragedy in your home. Beginning from now you will continue to rise. From this moment your progress will be rapid. Every obstacle in your way, I remove now in Jesus name. You will never beg again. Every door that has been closed against you will open before the new year. You will never wear the garment of shame again. Everything that will make your joy full, receive it right now. Everything you have asked for the Almighty God will give it to you today. I decree it shall be well; with you. You will never know failure again. Everything the enemy has stolen from you you will get it back double in Jesus name. The anointing to serve God, receive it right now. It shall be well with you. Your joy will be full. You will never go back gain. You will serve God for the rest of your life. In Jesus mighty name I have decreed.”
