Bible verse in Yoruba:

Ìfihàn 04:11 – Oluwa, iwọ li o yẹ lati gbà ogo ati ọlá ati agbara: nitoripe iwọ li o dá ohun gbogbo, ati nitori ifẹ inu rẹ ni nwọn fi wà ti a si dá wọn.

Key: For God has created everything for His pleasure, for His will. God is the pioneer of creation and God created everything to have pleasure in them.

There is no manufacturer that will manufacture anything that won’t make Him happy.  Before any production takes place, the manufacturer thinks about what He wants to produce, how He wants to produce it, why He wants to produce it and what purpose the product will serve; so is it with creation.

Everything was created for a purpose. Even the trees, water, land and even light brings pleasure to God; they were created for a purpose and it is so evident that they are fulfilling it.

Have you ever wondered why you were created?

There is a saying, if you know your purpose you will be able to stand out and not settle for anything that comes your way. Most times we mistake the purpose for what we want for ourselves or how we picture ourselves.

The best purpose a man has is the purpose God has for Him and God’s purpose for a man brings pleasure to Him.

God won’t give you a purpose that won’t bring glory and honour to Him.

Knowing God’s purpose for you and following it makes you stand out, it makes things easy for you. It makes you know who you really are. It makes you know the people to walk with and what to do each time.

Knowing God’s purpose for your life makes you stay closer to God because walking in line with what God has for you will make you turn to Him for directions every time, because He is the one leading you.

Reflection: Pray to God today to reveal to you why you were created and walk in line with it.
