Key: No one calls upon the name of God and ends up ashamed. No one cries to God and comes back disappointed.
To seek God’s opinion about a matter, to search for God’s idea about a confusing situation, to long for God’s voice concerning a situation and when God speaks, everything obeys, the storm gets calm, fears disappear, you feel boldness to continue whatever He has spoken about because your confidence in its success stays sure.
God speaks in diverse ways to different individuals. The only reason God hasn’t spoken to you may be because of sin or because you are distracted by one thing or the other. Do not let your own opinion or others opinion overshadow God’s own opinion.
There are cases in which God might have spoken about a particular matter and you were distracted and couldn’t hear (For God does speak —now one way, now another —
though no one perceives it. Job 33:14) which has now brought about fear because you have been praying and aren’t hearing His thoughts about the situation.
“I sought the Lord and He heard me”. No one seeks God truthfully and goes back with nothing. Stay with God, greatly desire Him, listen attentively and if He had spoken and you missed His voice go back to Him and beg Him to speak again.
Reflection: No one seeks God and ends up ashamed or fearful.
