Key:  As humans our major desire is to make it in life; to be wealthy and to acquire all the things we desire to have. Most people thrive to have all these things to the extent that they forget that life doesn’t just end here on earth.

Their desire to have it all has made them surrender to the devil which in turn has given them hatred, depression, desperation, gluttony and so many more bad fruits in turn. People kill their friends, family and even turn against their loved ones just because they want to satisfy their lusts.

Life doesn’t just end here on earth, there is a life after here and the way we live our life here determines what our outcome will be after we leave earth.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”. I’m not telling us not to work hard to make it here on earth but while doing that remember that the treasure of earth can fade and heavenly treasures cannot fade away.

Having treasures in heaven isn’t as hard as it looks, the moment you give your life to Christ and the more you work for God and live your life according to all he has commanded us makes your heavenly treasure increase.

We are in the last days and our focus should be mainly on heaven. One thing about chasing treasures is that the more you get it the more you hunger for more. Now tell me, would you waste your time chasing after worldly treasure that would fade at the end or chasing after heavenly treasures that will last forever?

Reflection: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and every other thing shall be added unto you.
