Key: Consecration means to be set apart, to be sanctified, to be devoted. We must know that consecration is not done by God; it’s our own responsibility, our part of the process. It is our responsibility to be devoted unto God; a holy and acceptable life. A life devoted unto God. God will not consecrate us, His part is stated in our text “the Lord will do wonders among you.” Indeed it is God who can do amazing things; as we dedicate ourselves unto Him and for His use, He will surely do amazing things among us. And as we draw near unto Him by consecrating ourselves, He will surely draw near unto us.

Prayer: Father, grant me the grace to be able to consecrate myself onto you.
