Focus: Who is like God?

WORD FOR TODAY

You must understand that there is no one like God as you proceed in your destiny. No matter how great, powerful, influential, wonderful, caring, and benevolent a man appears to be, he cannot be like God and must never take His place in your life.

Scriptural Reference

“Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praise, doing wonders?” Exodus 15:11 NKJV

The Israelites saw God in a mighty dimension at the Red Sea and acknowledged His greatness. Their experience portrayed the fact that they had never seen anyone like God. No matter how you feel and what you have experienced in life, what you need to know to enjoy peace is that there is no one like God. There is no one like Him among men; He is glorious in holiness, fearful in praise, and He does great wonders. 

There is no doubt in the fact that we have seen men in various aspects of life who appear to be wonderful, but they are not without what limits them as men and their shortcomings. Several people have disappointed us. Those from whom we should get comfort and encouragement may not avail themselves of being there for us at the time of need. You will save yourself from disappointment by living with the conviction that no one is like God and no one can take His place in your life.

Who is like God?

Prayer: Lord! There is no one like you, and no one will take your place in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Emphasis: There is no one like God!
