WORD FOR TODAY
Whenever men talk you down do not bring yourself down but find strength in the word of God to rise above every limitation. The true strength of man, most of the time, is not quantified by his physical attributes but the divine support he enjoys!
Scriptural Reference
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 NKJV)
There is no limit to what you can do if God is having your back. When situations and people tend to talk you down due to your physical attributes or appearance; you are required to look inward to discover what God has done and what He says he will do. The aim of every act which seems to talk down the ability of a man is to ensure discouragement and to bring people down.
In 1Samuel.17.33, Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he is a man of war from his youth.” David did not allow king Saul to talk him down and went ahead to defeat Goliath. As you face different issues and challenges in life, always go in the strength of the Lord without considering your limitations and the words of men that aim to slow you down.
