WORD FOR TODAY
Each time the Holy Spirit finds expression in the life of a man; the word of the Lord comes to fulfillment. To silence the Holy Spirit is to hinder the manifestation of the word of God!
Scriptural Reference
“And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” (Luke 4:21 KJV)
Jesus said: “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” (Luke 4:18-19). The Lord lived His life among men to fulfill what He said through the Holy Spirit.
You will only fulfill the predetermined plan of God for your life; if and only if you allow the Holy Spirit to find expression in your life. It is only when the Holy Spirit finds an expression that you can preach the gospel. Help the brokenhearted, proclaim the liberty of the captive, set the oppressed free and prepare men for the day of the Lord.
We will identify the spirit that is in a man by the way he lives and what he chooses to do at every point in time. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, It anoints you to do the will of God and be a blessing to your world. However, no matter how you live, it is a fulfillment of the word of God!
