“Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” 1 Kings 18:41 NKJV
One of those things we cannot but experience in the land of the living is famine; which can happen as a result of the consequences of our sins or the testing of our character at certain times. In the case of the Israelites in the scenario in 1 King 18, they experienced famine as a result of their sins, however, after the third year the Lord had mercy on them.
There is no doubt that you have spent many days lacking in various aspects of your life. Whatever aspect of your life is in famine, the season of abundance has arrived. As we enter the fourth quarter of this year, the Lord will have mercy on us, and our famine in various aspects of life will be alleviated because we will not only hear the sound of rain but will also experience a divine shower. The season of refreshing is here.

Prayer: Lord! Let there be a sound of rejoicing by the virtue of abundant blessing over every famine experience in Jesus’ name. Amen!
