No matter how wonderful you appear to be and the level of influence and greatness you exhibited so far in life; you must be ever mindful of the fact that there is someone better than you. It is only the grace of God that is special in the life of a man!
Scriptural Reference
“If it pleases the king, let a royal decree go out from him, and let it be recorded in the laws of the Persians and the Medes, so that it will not be altered, that Vashti shall come no more before King Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal position to another who is better than she.” (Esther 1:19 NKJV)
The greatest mistake a man can make in his destiny walk is for him to think of himself more highly than he ought to. It is God who crowns men with honour and glory. When it appears as if your life is beautiful, it is God at work. While Vashti was Queen she forgot that she wasn’t the best but a woman who received Grace.
She refused to honour the invitation of the King. She forgot that she was a Queen because the King chooses her. Hence, a replacement was sought. Don’t take the grace of God in your life for granted as a wife/husband, Father/Mother, Boss, Pastor, Overseer, Principal, or leader in any capacity. There are people better than you. Be mindful of the fact that God did not create any man who is so special that cannot be replaced.
As you increase, continue to humble yourself. There will always be an Esther prepared to take your place if you take the grace of God in your life for granted!

Prayer: Lord! I receive the grace to humble myself always and never take the grace made available to me for granted in Jesus’ name. Amen!
