WORD FOR TODAY
God is mighty to save but will not save at all times. Even as you need to be always optimistic about various issues of life by faith, the fact remains that you must prepare your mind that things can go either way in life!

“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” Daniel 3:17-18 NIV
Life will not always go one way all the time. It is sinusoidal (up and down) in nature. To think things will always be in a certain direction all the time is to live in disappointment. When things turn out well for you in various aspects of life it is not a right but a privilege.
In 2 Samuel 18, King David’s servants told him not to go to war with them, putting into consideration that they might lose the battle. Don’t go on in life with false faith. Real faith demands standing with God and believing His word irrespective of what happens.
God will not but allow us to go through a different phase of life to have a clear understanding of what life is truly all about and to be a man with a balance orientation about life.

Emphasis: The right approach to life is to know that anything can happen to a man irrespective of his faith and anointing and that God remains God come what may!
