Focus: Praise the LORD!
WORD FOR TODAY
No matter what your experiences may be or what your destiny holds, as long as there is breath in your lungs, your foremost responsibility is to praise the Lord. You cannot truly fathom the depths of what God can still do in your life as a living soul. The fact that you are still here, despite your past failures, disappointments, or struggles, is evidence that God is not yet finished with you!
Scriptural Reference
“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!”— Psalm 150:6 NKJV
Every living being, regardless of their circumstances, is called to offer praise to the Creator. The very act of breathing is a gift from God, and with every breath comes the opportunity to lift your voice in thanksgiving and worship. When you praise the Lord, you are fulfilling your highest purpose. Even when life seems difficult or uncertain, praise has the power to shift your focus from your circumstances to the One who holds your future. It is an acknowledgment that God is sovereign, that He is good, and that His plans for you are still unfolding.
No matter how you may feel about a person or even yourself, one truth remains: as long as someone is alive, God is not done with them. Their past experiences, failures, and disappointments do not limit what God can still do in their lives. The mistakes of yesterday do not disqualify them from the grace and mercy of God. In fact, it is often through the brokenness of our past that God works His greatest miracles. He is a God of second chances, of restoration, and of new beginnings. Therefore, every living soul—regardless of their history—must praise the Lord.
The very fact that you are alive today is proof that God is still interested in you. It means that your story is not over. It means that God still has plans for you, and His best for you is yet to come. The challenges you face are not the end of the road but part of the journey. As long as you are alive, there is hope, and as long as there is hope, there is a reason to praise.
So, no matter what you are going through, keep praising the Lord. God has not given up on you, and neither should you. Your best days are not behind you—they are ahead of you. Continue to honour God with your life and with your praise. As long as you live, praise the Lord with all that you are, for He is worthy of all honour, glory, and adoration.
Meditation: Are you praising God despite your circumstances?
Prayer: Lord, I thank You that You have given me life and breath. Help me to live each day with a heart full of praise and gratitude, no matter what I face. Strengthen me to praise You in every season, knowing that You are worthy of all honor and glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Emphasis: As long as you have breath in your body, God is not done with you. Keep praising Him, for your best is yet to come.
