WORD FOR TODAY
No matter how amazing, glorious, or powerful a man may seem to be, he is still a man, and no matter how unique he believes himself to be he is still not indispensable. Man has an exaggerated personality, and his glory depends on how well God’s mercy and glory are reflected in him!
Scriptural Reference
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7 NKJV
Every man is a product of God’s mercy and grace. No matter a man’s reign, splendor, dominance, or greatness, he will always be a poor reflection of God’s personality. It is a deception intended to ruin you when something tells you that you are so unique and that you have the right to show pride. The breath of life from God is what separates the living from the dead.
In your relationship with men be ever mindful of the fact a man is a man and not God. When he is righteous and holy, it is not him but God in him and when he is corrupt and sinful, it is not still him but the sinful nature in him. Hence, he is a personality that can be an instrument in the hand of God and the Devil. You must note the following about a man:
🔥 Man is of few days and he will return to dust (Job 14:1).
🔥 There is woe for any man who trusts a man (Jer 17:5).
🔥 A man’s heart is deceitful and desperately wicked and it is practically impossible to know it (Jer 17:9).
🔥 Every man exhibits a certain degree of weakness (2Cor 12:9).
🔥 He will be whatever he wants to be by God’s grace alone (1 Cor 15:10).
