WORD FOR TODAY
Your actions and inaction have far-reaching consequences and rewards. It is incorrect to believe that your life is your life because you represent a nation, tribe, clan, domain, organization, or ministry. Because your life is the life of the domain you represent, you must be a worthy ambassador!
Scriptural Reference
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” Matthew 5:13 NKJV
Your appearance in each domain of placement conveys a message about your personality to those who observe you. People will judge your beliefs, tribe, ministry, and the people you represent based on your lifestyle. Some tribes will not allow their people to marry from another tribe because of the lifestyle they lived in the past.
In the past, some employers have requested that the church recommend faithful members for employment. It is no longer the case because some men were unworthy ambassadors. Because of what some so-called Christians have done, some people cannot be persuaded to follow God’s will or enter into business deals. When salt loses its flavour, the question of how it will be seasoned remains unanswered!
Whatever you do will have a significant impact on those who come after you. Don’t obstruct God’s work in your domain; if you do, you will not be innocent, and your life will serve as a model for evil. Allow God to work in you to be a worthy ambassador in the domain in which you have been placed.
