A man with a good heart and eyes will always identify and appreciate what is good in both things and men without sentiment. The nature of your heart and eyes determine what you see in things and people!

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy–meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8 NKJV
It is very easy for a man to see what is not good in things and people. Practically, it takes time for people to see what is good in things, people and circumstances that appear not perfect. We must cultivate the habit and trust God to help us to see things with the right frame of mind.
There is no doubt in the fact that life is characterized by both positives and negatives. Don’t be too quick to condemn things when they appear not good enough. If there is a need for criticism it should be constructive with adequate recommendations for improvement.
Encourage what is good even when they appear not good enough or not up to your standards. Don’t be an agent of destruction to what men are doing or their intentions. Appreciate every effort men put in place to achieve something even if it turns out not to be promising!

Prayer: Lord! Give me a good heart and eyes needed to appreciate every good effort put in place in various aspects of life in Jesus name. Amen!
