Your safety as a child of God is only guaranteed when you abide under the shadow of God the Almighty. The evil one has not succeeded over a man until he ensures that he no longer dwells in the secret place of the Most High!

Scriptural Reference

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1 NKJV

The greatest battle of the devil against the people of God is to make sure they are not under the shadow of the Almighty. The Lord Jesus gave an illustration of the prodigal son who thought he would do well going away from the Father, but his life turned out to be miserable. Things fall into the rightful place for him when he returns to the Father. No matter how wonderful the life of a man may appear to be, his life will turn out miserable if his life is not under the shadow of the Almighty.

The evil uses various bait associated with money to lure men away from the Shadow of the almighty. It is an outright deception of the devil to think there is something you cannot become through righteousness in Christ. It is very costly for a man’s life to operate outside the shadow of the Almighty. God will only be your refuge and fortress; your shield and buckler, protect you from terror, evil arrow, pestilence, and destruction that lays waste at noonday; if and only if you abide under His shadow. 

With God standing by your side; no evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; He will satisfy you with long life and show you His salvation.

Do you dwell in the secret place of the Most High?

Prayer: Lord! Your presence will be my shield and guide; always stand by me to bring your word to pass in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Emphasis: Your life, destiny, and purpose are only secured when you dwell in the shadow of the Almighty.
