The word for today
The ultimate plan of God for us in this land is to become a mighty nation that will be a blessing to many nations of the earth. This will only come to pass when we work and walk in the premises of His divine purpose for our lives!

“For Abraham will become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed through him.” Genesis 18:18 NLT
Irrespective of the experiences we have had so far in our land as a nation it doesn’t change the fact that the plan of the Lord for us is to be a great and mighty nation that will be a blessing to all nations of the earth. The Lord is committed to bring His word to pass over our land.
The Lord confidently affirms the fact that Abraham will surely be a great and mighty nation because He responded to God to work and walk to fulfill His purpose on earth. He taught and commanded his children and his household to keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and to love justice. By the virtue of these actions the LORD brought to pass what He said concerning Abraham. In every tribe, race, colour and nation today we have sons and daughters of Abraham.
The Lord has not given up on our land; if we will keep the way of the Lord, love justice and walk in righteousness; He will bring to pass what He has said concerning our land! This has to begin with you as an individual.
Meditation: Do you keep the way of the Lord? Do you love justice and walk in righteousness?
Prayer: Dear Lord, help us as a nation to keep your ways, love justice and walk in righteousness. Make us a great and mighty nation that will bless the world in Jesus’ name. Amen!
