Bible verse in Yoruba:

Johannu 14:27 – Alafia ni mo fi silẹ fun nyin, alafia mi ni mo fifun nyin: kì iṣe gẹgẹ bi aiye iti fi funni li emi fifun nyin. Ẹ máṣe jẹ ki okàn nyin daru, ẹ má si jẹ ki o warìri.

Key: There is “Peace” that comes with knowing Jesus. Have you ever experienced what happens to anyone that leaves Christ after giving his life to him? It isn’t a good experience truly. It brings fear, pain, uncertainty, depression, sadness and so on.

The devil tries his best to torment the individual till he just feels like a walking dead.

Have you experienced the feeling that comes with giving one’s life to christ? Even the first seconds you decide to make the decision brings automatic peace, you feel like all your burden has been lifted, like you are free, you feel as light as a wind. Everyday you wake up is a new day to be happy, to be more productive.

The more time you spend with Jesus the more the feeling grows, the more you feel Him closer to you holding you and cheering you up.

“My peace will I give unto you not as the world gives” The peace the world gives comes with tribulation at its end but the peace Jesus gives has no end.

Why would you risk having a worldly peace that won’t even last than giving your life to Jesus today and having the most ever lasting peace that will last through a lifetime and has no end.

Reflection: The peace of God is available but you can only get it if you genuinely give your life to Jesus.
