Word of the day: Isaiah 54 vs 15 – They Shall Surely Gather

Isaiah 54:15 – ESV – If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you. 

Isaiah 54:15 – NLT – If any nation comes to fight you, it is not because I sent them. Whoever attacks you will go down in defeat.

Isaiah 54:15 – AMP – If anyone fiercely attacks you it will not be from Me. Whoever attacks you will fall because of you.

Isaiah 54:15 – NIV – If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you.

Key: That you are a child of God doesn’t mean that enemies will not rise against you; “LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! Many are they that rise up against me”(Psalm 3:1 KJV) But, your immunity is in Jesus Christ. The challenges we face are a test of our trust in God.  So, when challenges arise all you have to do is call unto God, “I cried unto the LORD with my voice, And he heard me out of his holy hill” (Psalm 3:4 KJV) trust Him to shield you from every weapon of the enemy “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD” (Isaiah 54:17 KJV) and defeat them.
