Key: This verse is a common verse that most of us can recite off-hand but when challenges come we allow our fear consume us, we forget that a verse like this exists and even forget about how powerful the word of God is.

Remember what the bible says about the word of God in Hebrews 4:12 that “For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.”

Every word of God is backed up by the spirit of God and wherever the spirit of God is there is freedom, deliverance, liberty.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” Not BY my strength but the strength of Christ. I am just the one performing the action but the fuel, energy and strength that enables the action to be performed is Christ’s.

So instead of allowing situations rob me of my joy or peace, I rise and I take charge not with my strength but the strength of Christ.
