Key: Run at the appearance of youthful lusts; Youthful lust in the context of this chapter is about theological discussions that could lead people to more ungodliness. A believer must avoid ignorant controversies about God that will breed quarrels. Also, such conversations can sway a believer’s belief about God. 2 Timothy 2:14 says “Remind them of these things, and charge them before God  not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers”

Action cue: We are in a time where ignorant discussion about God is the order of the day, if you find yourself in such discussion try correct them in gentleness. If it among people who are ready to quarrel with you, flee from it.
