Bible verse in Yoruba
2 Korinti 08:12 – Nitori bi imura-tẹlẹ ba wà ṣaju, o jasi itẹwọgbà gẹgẹ bi ohun ti enia bá ni, kì iṣe gẹgẹ bi ohun ti kò ni.
key: Our giving is acceptable by God when we give willingly and not grudgingly; the size of the gift doesn’t matter, it is the willingness and desire to give that counts. A perfect example is the story of the poor widow who casted two mites (Read: Luke 21 vs 4). However, one of the essentials of acceptable giving is giving according to what you have.
Prayer: Father, provide and increase our resources as we give willingly unto you and those around us.
