WORD FOR TODAY
Greatness does not begin with big things; it begins with faithfulness in little things. When you lose regard for the small responsibilities, opportunities, and stages God places before you, you unknowingly lose access to the bigger future He has prepared. Process does not delay destiny; it builds you for it!

Little things matter deeply to God. They are His training grounds. Every great man He raised passed through the classroom of “small beginnings.” Your regard for small tasks, small opportunities, and small stages is proof of your readiness for bigger responsibilities.
The danger many face is despising humble beginnings. Yet it is in those beginnings that character, discipline, and spiritual stamina are formed. When you skip the process, you skip the development required to sustain greatness. God uses the little to grow you into the large.
David tended a few sheep before tending a whole nation. Joseph managed a household before managing an empire. Even Jesus grew “in stature” before stepping into public ministry. The path to greatness is not accidental; it is a journey of faithful obedience to each stage God brings your way.
Your big dreams are not threatened by small beginnings. They are strengthened, shaped, and prepared through them. Process is God’s gift to you; His way of ensuring you are ready for the weight of what you are praying for. Do not ignore the little things. Do not rush past the process. God is using every small step to equip you for the greatness ahead.
Questions for Meditation
Have I been despising the small responsibilities or stages God placed before me? How is God using my current “little things” to build me for something greater? What processes have I been trying to skip that God wants me to embrace?
Prayer: Lord, help me to value the little things You place on my path. Deliver me from impatience and the temptation to despise small beginnings. Teach me to embrace the process and grow through it. Prepare me for the greatness You have ordained, and make me faithful in every step. Amen.
