The Light Daily Devotional – God Will Come Through
Focus: God Will Come Through
WORD FOR TODAY
When God comes, He comes in His own way and His own time; not when men expect, but when they have almost forgotten. Yet when He comes, everything changes!
Scriptural Reference
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles.” .”—Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
God’s timing is often mysterious, but it is never late. He moves beyond human calculations and appears when every human effort has failed; just to prove that He alone is God. When the Israelites stood trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea, fear gripped them; logic offered no escape route. Yet, at the moment when it seemed all hope was gone, God came through; He parted the sea and made a way where there was none.
When Goliath mocked Israel for forty days, the nation trembled in silence. Deliverance seemed distant; until David appeared, armed not with weapons, but with faith. God showed up through an unexpected vessel at an unexpected time. That’s how He works; mysteriously, yet purposefully.
The God who came through for Abraham at 100, for Joseph in the prison, for Daniel in the lions’ den, and for Ruth in Moab, will also come through for you. The delay is not denial ; it’s divine preparation. Heaven is never in a hurry, but God is always on time.
Waiting is not wasted time. In waiting, your faith matures, your strength renews, and your character is shaped. If it is truly God you are waiting for, you must learn to wait with Him; not with murmuring, but with trust. So, take your burden to the Lord and leave it there. Don’t pick it up again through worry or fear. God will address it when the time is right. His silence does not mean absence; it means He’s working behind the scenes.
Questions for Meditation: Am I truly waiting on God or growing weary in impatience? How can I trust His timing even when I don’t understand His ways? What situations in my life need total surrender to God’s plan?
Prayer: Lord, help me to wait on You with faith and patience. Strengthen me when the wait feels long. Teach me to trust Your timing and to see Your hand even in silence. Come through for me in Your own way and time, that Your name alone may be glorified. Amen.
Main Emphasis: God may not come when you expect, but He will never come too late. His timing is perfect, and His ways are sure.
May the Lord who works wonders in His time visit you with divine help. May your waiting season turn into a testimony season, and may your strength be renewed as you trust Him. Amen.
Main Emphasis: God opens doors for those who move in faith, not those who wait in fear.
May your hands find strength to knock, your heart find courage to believe, and may every door you approach in faith open in divine favour. Amen.
