WORD FOR TODAY
God’s reality does not depend on what people believe, what circumstances look like, or how long you have waited. He is real, He reigns, and He remains the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him!
Scriptural Reference
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” — Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
There are seasons when the apparent success of wickedness can make a person question whether God is truly involved in the affairs of men. You may see dishonest people prosper, faithful people struggle, and prayers seem to remain unanswered. Yet the silence of God is not the absence of God, and His patience must never be mistaken for approval of evil.
God is real regardless of what happens around you. He remains sovereign when life makes sense and when it does not. Scripture is filled with people who waited, trusted, and eventually witnessed the faithfulness of God. Joseph endured years of injustice before his elevation. Hannah waited before she held Samuel. Abraham waited for the fulfilment of God’s promise. Their waiting did not mean God had forgotten them.
Faith therefore means continuing to trust God when evidence seems incomplete. It means choosing obedience when compromise appears more rewarding and remaining faithful when others seem to be advancing through unrighteousness. The believer does not serve God merely because of immediate rewards but because God Himself is worthy of trust.
Do not allow the behaviour of others to determine your conviction about God. Their choices do not change His nature. Continue to pray, obey His Word, pursue righteousness, and seek Him wholeheartedly. He still answers prayers, still changes situations, still opens doors, and still does what no human being can accomplish. Your responsibility is to remain faithful. God’s responsibility is to remain God.
Question for Meditation: Have the circumstances around me weakened my confidence in the reality, faithfulness, and power of God?
Prayer: Father, strengthen my faith when circumstances are difficult to understand. Help me to trust You beyond what I see, remain faithful when answers seem delayed, and seek You with my whole heart. Let my life continually testify that You are real and faithful, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Main Emphasis: God is real, faithful, and still at work, even when His workings are not immediately visible.
May the Lord strengthen your faith, silence every doubt, and reveal His faithfulness in every area of your life. May you continue to seek Him diligently and experience His power in ways that only He can accomplish, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
