Key: Whenever you are angry, take a brief pause or walk away from the scene if you have the opportunity to; you don’t have to respond immediately. Moses didn’t hold back and it cost him the promised land; a moment of anger, erased his years of labour. 

At the height of anger, you may say things you don’t mean which can be hurtful to the receiver; they may forgive you but they will never forget. Words can be likened to an egg, when it breaks, the shell can no longer be put together.  

Prayer: Father, give me the grace to be patient and to tame my tongue when I am angry, in Jesus name. Amen
