Key: The moment we give our lives to Christ there are some things we should naturally let go of inorder to prevent them from pulling us back because we can’t hold on to the world and still hold on to Christ, one has to go for one.

It has been proven scientifically that every thing humans see or hear get registered in their brain and reflects unconsciously in their actions.

As a Christian,  your goal is to thrive to be better, to be like Christ. Thus, you need to be mindful of what you feed your spirit with. Thrive to get closer to God, read your Bible, fast and pray, make friends that will encourage you in God, go to church regularly. The more you do these things the more your confidence and knowledge of Christ increases.

Shun vain talks, gossips and different worldly enticements; they are distractions, they make you lose interest in God slowly till you finally backslide.

Now to those wordly friends, don’t just insult them and push them away, tell them about Jesus, keep telling them about Jesus, let them see you are different, let them know you have stopped the things you guys do together in the past and make them know you are no longer interested in that type of friendship because the bible says if it’s your eyes that won’t make you enter the kingdom of heaven, pluck it out.

You may say you can cope with them with their bad ways since your focus is Christ and not them but remember it is easier and faster for someone to be pulled down than to be pulled up.

Reflection: Christ kept good company when He was on earth, you have been given the power to choose those you want around you, choose right cus everyone you choose has an effect on your life.
