WORD FOR TODAY
Irrespective of what men do against you, do not play God! Allow God to repay every man according to His deeds!

“Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? Genesis 50:19 NKJV
The Lord brought you this far despite all you’ve been through. He didn’t allow the wish of the evil one to come to pass over your life. Therefore, do not keep the record of the wrongdoings of men towards you. Allow the peace of God to reign in your life and forgive the shortcomings of men against you.
God in His mercy will bring evil men to feet like He brought the brothers of Joseph to his feet at the time of the manifestation of God’s Glory in his life. When you become powerful and you find yourself in a similar situation; do not play God. Always remember that it was the mercy of God that helped you scale through. Hence, show mercy and mercy only. Allow God to use you to put an end to evil by overcoming it with good.

Prayer: Lord! I receive the grace to always remember your mercy and show mercy to overcome evil all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!
Emphasis: In the days of your opportunities, never play God but show mercy!
