Caption: The Power of Resurrection
Phil.3 vs 10 – KJV – Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Phil.3 vs 10 – NLT – I want to know Christ and experience the power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death,
Phil.3 vs 10 – AMP – “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;”
Phil.3 vs 10 – GNB – All I want is to know Christ and to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings and become like him in his death.
Phil.3 vs 10 – MSG – I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself.
Key: In the power of resurrection lies the power of our salvation. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. We are who we are because we have a risen God.
All power was given to Christ after resurrection, he defeated the devil and his principalities so that we can be free. John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Action: Whenever you are confronted by the devil, remind him that he has been defeated at the resurrection and he can longer lay hold of you. Col. 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
We are the most powerful people because of His resurrection.
